Under the patronage of the prince of the region, Asharqia Chamber organizes the exhibition in December
"Sanaati 2018" is launched in its fourth edition with the participation of 22 incubators and more than 320 productive families
The exhibition of productive families "Sanaati 2018" will start with the participation of more than 22 incubators of productive families between associations, centers and committees. The exhibition would take place at Dhahran International Exhibitions Company «Expo», Dammam Al-Khobar coastal road from 9 to 13 December, during the period (9-13 December.)
Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, Asharqia Chamber will launch the exhibition, and targeting more than 320 productive families.
The Chamber, which had recently completed its first and second phases, was preparing for the exhibition, and launched its third phase in October. Since October, the Chamber started to receive requests of families produced outside the incubators to participate in the exhibition, according to specific criteria such as the quality of the product offered and that it does not have an outlet for sale or a commercial license.
Moreover, the Chairman of the Board of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, said that the confirmation of 22 incubators of the productive families in the Eastern Region their participation in the exhibition and the increase in the number of participating families to more than 320 families reflect the continued success of the exhibition over the past three years, and emphasize the status taken by the exhibition at all the relevant associations, centers and committees with productive families.
AlKhalidi explained the keenness of Asharqia Chamber on the establishment of the productive families' exhibition «Sanaati» since 2015.
This comes within the vision and mission aimed at stimulating the culture of self-employment among all members of society, and develop the spirit of leadership and initiative and integration with the incubator associations of productive families, as well as contribute to the preservation of local heritage.
AlKhalidi said that the exhibition will stimulate the productive families in the Eastern Region to engage in the local market, thus stimulating their role in supporting the national economy to achieve the vision of 2030.
He pointed out that the Chamber recognized the need of productive families, especially in the early stages for proper support, more than in-kind loans.
Therefore, the Chamber decided to launch the exhibition of productive families and to make sure that it is established late every year, by providing a free place for these families to display their products.
AlKhalidi promised that the exhibition «Sanaati» for the current year is going to be different than the previous years, as it comes under the approval of the Council of Ministers on the Executive Regulations to regulate the work of productive families.
The transfer of its program and the responsibility of vocational training for women from the Agency of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of Social Security to the Social Development Bank, thus, in order to providing more employment opportunities and funding for these families, and to turning them to self-reliant entities, which is what Asharqia Chamber has been striving to achieve since the launching of its annual exhibition of productive families.
